Businesses & Business Owners

Businesses of New Seatown

Group Leader: Abraham Redinamus

Officers: US: t.b.d. / EU: t.b.d. / AP: t.b.d.

The leader of New Seatown and his officers reside in the Townhall of New Seatown - a wreck of an old plane a bit above the town itself.

Ammunation

Owned by: Thommy Connolly

Employees: t.b.d.

The gun store is located in the industry quarter of New Seatown. They buy and sell weapons here. You should check often, as it can be that some scavenger brought a rarity!

Atomic Booze Canteen

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d. (5am - 2pm SLT), t.b.d. (2pm - 11pm SLT), t.b.d. (11pm to 2am SLT)

The Atomic Booze Canteen is a shady strip bar, restaurant and brothel at the main square of New Seatown. The proprietor buys raw foods and drinks of all kinds, prepares them for the people of New Seatown and the visiting wastelanders. Good quality even if some ingredients are strange or questionable, cheap prices, welcoming house.

Barely Used Armor

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

The armory in the New Seatown Rust District is a seller of priorly bought armor, as well as a creator of armor. A lot of used armor is being sold - and it is not proven that the prior owners sold the pieces by themselves - or if they are still alive.

Bob's Meat Market

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

Meat is the main food in New Seatown aside of fish, as not many plants grow that can function as meals. The origin and quality of the meat sold here is of very questionable origin and quality though - be sure you recognize yet the original shape of the animal, as a simple steak could be from your neighbour you claimed having vanished in a night a week ago.

Gas Castle

Owned by: Achillesalpharius Resident

Employees: t.b.d.

New Seatown is known for it: Gas, gasoline, also called Guzzoline. And the Gas Castle is the place to get it, or to sell it. It's said that it is a honest business, but also that they demand different prices from townsfolk and from visiors, alike two to five times the price per gallon.

New Seatown Church

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

Where money and education is scarce, risk and needs are plenty, people often turn to the various churches. One of them stands in New Seatown. While the attached graveyard is already overloaded, the preacher is still dedicated to help their sheep with traditional ceremonies and also spiritual guidance.

New Seatown Hospital

Owned by: Mustelidae Resident

Employees: t.b.d.

The house is less than intact anymore, more a scrapped shack, but it is likely the only source for medical help in a radius of a day's journey.

Georges Tinker Store (scrap shop)

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

While George himself is long gone, his name still flickers on the sign of this scrap shop. Less a mechanic shop itself, the shop on New Seatown's main square is often a first address to visit for scavengers to get rid of their salvage, and for New Seatown denizens who need stuff for repairs or replacements.

I fix your Shit (mechanics workshop)

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

The mechanic shack of New Seatown. While surely not the only one, definitely the most prominent one on town square. People working here repair and craft makeshift new items from the salvaged junk people deliver to town.

New Seatown Sheriff Office

Owner: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

A town like New Seatown needs protection, as their goods - even if ever so scarce - cause envy and greed and tries to take a chance on them in others. Don't become prisoner here, as your life might be worth less to them than the food they'd need to feed you with.

New Sewtown Clobber and Fabric Fixer

Owned by: Mystik Anatra

Employees: t.b.d.

In the Sewtown shack at the central square of New Seatown they fix fabrics, clothes and shoes as good as possible - which is not much commonly. Do not expect that you get anything clean or new what cannot be cleaned anymore nor was new long ago - nothing is made anew anymore, but if your titties show through your top, they might sew a patch over the ripped hole to calm whistling punks at least.

Pawn & Bets

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

A small shack for people to place bets for the battles in the Mud'n'Blood Arena, as well as to hand in items to get other stuff they may need if they find no other trader.

Radio New Seatown

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

Radio New Seatown is a ghetto broadcast with a very nosy moderator. They broadcast rumors more than facts, make fun of unhappy wastelanders, but also inform people about the latest news from the Seattle Wastelands.
Attention: To fill this role, you must be able to indeed broadcast (no voice needed) over a stream - broadcasting by spamming the IC group chat is not allowed.

Soothsayer

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

Some people are less believing in some god, but are still receptive to spiritual ways. And for a little fee, the local soothsayer surely knows how to tell people about a good - or cruel - fate, no matter if it is derived from a crystal sphere, tarot cards or chicken bones.

Stoned

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

Officially a pharmacist/apothecary, in real a drug dealer. The drugs are not those you know from the past and before the apocalypse mostly, they do their job. And not everyone likes them around as the consumption usually means trouble more than helping: addictions, crimes associated with obtaining drugs, people on their high becoming nuts or aggressive, you name it.

Water Town

Leader: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

Water Town is a relatively new scrap shack, where the people of New Seatown catch rain, as well as that they pump up water from the yet mostly intact sewers from Seattle. The filter used is old, and barely functioning anymore, so it manages to clean the water only slightly from pollution, dirt and radiation - but that is already better than drinking mud or highly radiated water, right?
((OOC: Using the Optional Hunting System, this means that the water cleaning and purification station of New Seatown can increase the quality of water by 1 ("one") degree, i.e. max 1 ("one") step from "deadly radiated/infected" to "radiated/infected" to "slightly radiated/infected" to "moldy/stale" to "fresh/untainted".))

Businesses of Rocktop

Group Leader: x0xclementinex0x Resident

Officers: US: t.b.d. / EU: Britfur1 Resident / AP: t.b.d.

Mechanics Workshop

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

The mechanic shack of Rocktop is both a tinker shop for local repairs as well as a trader for scavengers - if they are allowed inside the gates at all.

Rocktop Infirmary

Owned by: Rochellerobecca Resident

Employees: t.b.d.

The Rocktop infirmary is more a makeshift place to treat the wounded of Rocktop. Medications are rare, and anesthesia is often done rather with a big swig of moonshine and a bit of wood to bite on while the amputations are done. But better to suffer a few days than to end as a zombie, right?

Water Purifier

Owned by: t.b.d.

Employees: t.b.d.

The water purification machine of Rocktop is likely the only one really in five hundred miles around. While not all water in Seattle itself is contaminated (but most of it), also the land side dwellers prefer usually definitely cleaned water as one never knows if a dead zombie or infected flaoted in the water one drinks. For most people it is to take the risk, not so for Rocktop.
((OOC: Using the Optional Hunting System, this means that the water cleaning and purification station of Rocktop can increase the quality of water by 2 ("two") degrees, i.e. max 2 ("two") steps from "deadly radiated/infected" to "radiated/infected" to "slightly radiated/infected" to "moldy/stale" to "fresh/untainted".))
